First Care Provider

First Care Provider  class is designed to develop a solid foundation of fundamental medical skills that can be successfully employed in life threatening situations both in and out of the home. Management of traumatic injury until EMS can arrive is the focal point of this training. Class will be a mix of lecture and hands on practical stations. Both self care and care for others will be covered and the medical interventions taught are those which are most beneficial during a stressful event. Don't be helpless in situations such as a traffic crash, public space shooting, firing range incident, or accident in your home or work. Be prepared with the skills and equipment to save your life or someone else.

Tactical Rescue and Casualty Care (TRaCC)

The Tactical Rescue and Casualty Care class is designed to provide law enforcement officers with a solid foundation of fundamental medical skills that can be successfully utilized in violent incidents. Students will be taught not only what interventions to take and when but why those interventions are used and what the desired outcome is for their use. The class is a combination of didactic and practical application with an emphasis on the methodology learned in multiple skill stations.  This class has been approved by MCJA and Maine EMS for CEHs.
